Modern Nomad Seeks Friends

Sitting in Starbucks as I write this. Waiting for the kids school to end. Only like 15 more minutes or something until that happens. So in 15 minutes I'll share with you the more important events of the past month.
Firstly, Saint Patrick's Day. In New York City, what more can I say? Wearing green, drinking, meeting up with random people (Marvin the doorman, Jason the Pirate, Mark the fisherman/farmer, and John the REAL Irish guy of the night), and getting hit on by people old enough to be my father. Did I also mention almost getting in a fist fight with a very drunk hostel worker? Just another Saint Paddy's. Next year I hope to either be in the city for it or in Ireland.
Nextly, I got most violently ill. Some 24/48 hour flu virus/bug. Not fun at all. But of course instead of happening during the week, where I would miss work. I got sick on the weekend. So I didn't miss any work because of it.
I did end up getting my tattoo last weekend. I'll try and get some decent pictures and post them. (Along with all the damn yarn porn that I need to post)
