I'm a modern nomad currently living in New York state working as a nanny.  (A modern nomad is someone who moves around a lot, I'm working on my 7th state right now.  Which is a lot considering almost everyone I know, except my family, have lived in only 2 places [max] their whole life.  Usually involving not leaving the same state for that lifespan.)  With my job, I'm what they call a live-in nanny.  The people I work for are really cool, and their kids.  They have twins, a boy and a girl, are good kids.  For the most part, as long as they aren't cranky, or tired.  I'm 22 years old, almost 23, but people tell me that I act like an old lady.  I don't mind that, I probably actually embrace it a little to much.

My mom is currently working on moving to Maryland, and my father lives in California.  My older sister Erin is living in Taiwan, she teaches English there to little kindergarters.  My other older sister Joanna is in West Virginia.  My little sister Judith is "married" (But that's a whole nother store) and living in Pennsylvania.  And my little brother Jon just joined the Army. (Even though I refuse to admit it).  My family is big and dysfunctional, and none of us can spell.  Plus there's this whole E vs. J thing, but the E's are always better. (I say this of course because I am an E).

I decided that after going to a year of college that I needed to take a year or something off.  But of course, as many will tell you, that year turned into basically two years.  Almost everyone I know, and people that I met, tell me that I just need to go back to college.  Which I will, since I finally know what I want to major, well double major in.  I just need to get stuff together so I can finally get something done.

So in short, this is who I am.  I love Peach and Go Bananas snapple.  I'm weird and prefer taking the subway to taking a cab.  On a Friday night if I had to choose between hanging out with friends knitting, or going to a party.  I'd stay home and knit with my friends.
